Tranberg's thermostats are represented in most of the oil installations in the North Sea, and also petrochemical industries and other industries subjected to rough environments.Applications
The thermostat must be protected with max. 16A circuit breaker (fuse) on power lead.
When used in Ex Classified Zones, ATEX Certified circuit breaker must be used.
Electrical connection to the heater must be executed via a circuit breaker, max. 16A and terminals mounted inside an enclosure..( See fig. 1 on the datasheet)

The ambient air thermostat Series TEF502392xx must be used as ambient air sensing working thermostat mounted in ATEX certified Ex e enclosures or enclosures for safe areas.
