TECAFORM AH ID inductive detectable POM-C is modified with a metal detectable filler that provides for excellent protection in food environments that use metal detection equipment to monitor for unwanted particulates. For added safety and versatility, this acetal material is colored blue to increase its visibility to optical detection equipment in use many food plants. TECAFORM AH ID grey metal detectable acetal is a metal detectable POM-C material designed for use in the food industry. It’s grey appearance resembles the stainless steel parts typically used in the same applications, but offers the added benefits of lighter weight, lubricity, and easier maintenance characteristics among other features. TECAFORM AH ID grey is the companion material to TECAFORM AH ID blue, which offers the versatility of being visible whether metal or optical detection systems are being used.

This injection moulded material is a Victrex PEEK polymer that has been modified with 30% carbon fibre to increase strength and rigidity. Stock shapes made from this material are handled under the tradename TECAPEEK IM CF30 black. Outer diameters range from 31,75 to 177,8 mm and inner diameters of up to 14,22 mm are feasible. Standard length of pipes is 76,2 and 152,4 mm.

Injection moulded stock shapes of a Victrex PEEK polymer, and 30% glass fibre are available under the tradename TECAPEEK IM GF30 natural. This modification provides increased strength and rigidity. The outer diameter of tubes made from this glass fibre reinforced PEEK vary between 31,75 mm to 177,8 mm, the inner diameter varies from 12,7 to 152,4 mm. Lengths of 76,2 and 152,4 mm are the standard.

Ensinger's TECAFORM AH LM white is a modified POM-C which contains a special additive that allows for a very high degree of contrast when marked with laser etching plastic technology. As plastic applications become increasingly critical, and the desire for improved traceability of finished plastic parts increases concurrently, plastic laser marking has likewise become more necessary and desirable than ever before. The laser markings exhibited by TECAFORM AH LM white manifest themselves as dark grey or black in color, in contrast to other more simple color modifications, which result in a less visible color shift that is more light grey or white when exposed to plastic laser input and only barely visible. This very high contrast of plastic laser marking in TECAFORM AH LM also makes possible the use of very small font sizes necessary for the smallest part surfaces. Laser markable plastic acetal ensures compliance to traceability requirements in both food and pharmaceutical industries, and also meets legal and agency requirements associated with those industries such as FDA and EU 10/2011. TECAFORM AH LM white laserable plastic acetal copolymer is available as a stock item in the form of sheets and round bars with short delivery times. An alternative color, TECAFORM AH LM grey can also be manufactured on request.

TECAGLIDE green is an internally lubricated cast nylon that utilizes a proprietary solid lubricant package. This state of the art technology allows the modified PA6 cast to show extremely good sliding and wear characteristics with very low friction and reduced abrasion, even in dry running conditions. HYDEX 4101L natural is the lubricated version of HYDEX 4101 PBT polyester. Like its un-lubricated sister resin, HYDEX 4101L is a more impact resistant polyester that is better suited to many fast paced industrial and food processing environments than other lubricated PET polyesters available. It is a food grade plastic material that can meet most agency requirements for food contact compliance, and is ideal for machined parts in food processing equipment that require a lower coefficient of friction, and higher wear properties. HYDEX 4101L has excellent resistance to typical cleaning chemicals such as chlorine and caustic solutions and has a very low moisture absorption rate.
