In contrast to POREMET, ABSOLTA N is a highly porous filter medium for higher flow rates with moderate pressure loads. ABSOLTA is characterized by the best cleaning and backwash properties. ABSOLTA D is also a 5-layer version with a reduced thickness of 1.7 millimeters.

POREFLO is a two- to three-layer laminate made of staggered layered weft fabrics. The subsequent surface compaction changes the laminate into an air-permeable metallic membrane with high stability and low porosity. POREFLO is particularly suitable for applications where high flow resistance is required.

The sheet-like filter medium consists of five different layers of fabric that are coordinated with one another in such a way that an optimal combination of strength, filtration fineness, flow rate and backwashing properties is achieved. POREMET is ideal for fine and ultra-fine filtration under high pressure loads and harsh operating conditions.

TOPMESH 2 was developed to compensate for the low inherent rigidity of fine filter fabrics. The combination of a filter fabric with a support layer made of square mesh fabric ensures stabilization at medium pressure loads and optimal backwashing properties. The low number of layers enables low pressure losses with the best backwashing effect. TOPMESH 2 is therefore ideal for CIP filters (CIP = Cleaning in Place) in the pharmaceutical industry. With very high pressure loads and large diameters, additional support elements may be required.

Compared to the TOPMESH 2, the laminate has an additional connection layer between the filter fabric and the support layer made of square mesh. With practically constant flow resistance and good backwashing capacity, higher pressure loads can be handled. TOPMESH 3 is also very suitable for use in CIP filters,

Duplex fabrics have a high flow rate and withstand increased mechanical loads. Duplex fabrics are popular for applications as pressure and vacuum filters as well as for filter cartridges.

These fabrics have a slightly structured surface and are characterized by very high flow rates and a small pressure drop. They are used for precoat filters and filter cartridges with increased mechanical stress.

Thanks to its high porosity, this fabric is characterized by very high flow rates. The uniform material cross-section in both thread directions allows the highest mechanical loads. These robust fabrics are used for precoat filters, filter candles, vacuum filters and well filters.

In contrast to the braid fabrics, the wires in this type are woven at a distance. This results in open meshes through which the fluid flows in a straight line. This type of fabric is characterized by extremely low flow resistance and a particularly good backwashing and cleaning ability. The square mesh fabrics are used for dirt filters with a low differential pressure, for backwash filters among other things in connection with composite fabrics.

The weave of the twill weave results in the smallest filter pores and a smooth fabric surface for monofilaments. The large material cross-section ensures a high level of tissue strength. When flowing through the twill braids, the particles overcome five staggered pore levels. This also reliably prevents elongated, thin, rod-shaped and fibrous particles. The fabrics with a fine specification for fine filtration are used, for example in pressure filters in hydraulic control systems and in fuel filters in critical applications. With a rough specification, they are used for pressure and vacuum filters (disc, cell and drum filters) and as a porous medium for fluid bed applications. These fabrics are mostly made of stainless steel.
