The AHRS-2G is a high-performance strapdownattitude and heading reference system that determines absolute orientation (heading, pitch and roll) for any device on which it is mounted. Orientation is determined with high accuracy for both motionless and dynamic applications.

In order to determine orientation, it utilizes 3-axes each of precision accelerometers, magnetometers, and gyroscopes. Integration of gyroscopes' output provides high frequency, real-time measurement of the device rotation about all three rotational axes. Accelerometers and magnetometers measure absolute pitch, roll and magnetic azimuth at AHRS initial alignment as well as providing ongoing corrections to gyroscopes during operation.

The world's smallest fully embedded absolute orientation sensor measuring just 0.4in3, Inertial Labs OS3D (aka OSv3) combines sensor technologies of magnetometers, gyroscopes, and accelerometers to measure absolute orientation of any object. Its internal microcontroller processes the data from nine discrete sensing axes and produces a quaternion orientation solution that is then provided over a standard RS-485 data bus.

By using RS-485, the OS3Dis able to be daisy-chained allowing for the use of multiple sensors simultaneously. This combined with its dynamic range and small size makes OSv3 ideal for human motion sensing applications that can require the tracking of multiple body segments or even a full body.

Gaming Sensor represents a shift from Inertial Labs traditional embedded 3DOF orientation systems. Designed with the intention of being integrated directly inside of the object to be tracked, OS3D.OEM is just 0.5in x 1.25in (12mm x 32mm). Additionally, its support of RS-485 allows for the possibility of utilizing multiple trackers simultaneously over a single data bus.

The OptoWOM optically enhanced weapon orientation module combines technologies of inertial sensors with optical image tracking resulting in a robust and reliable 3DOF orientation module capable of operation in virtually any environment. With the addition of optical image tracking the system is now able to mount directly to a device under measure, and with one known reference direction, can be turned on and operated immediately without any magnetic calibration whatsoever. During operation of the device magnetometer calibration parameters are derived on-the-fly allowing in time for the device to operate with both optical and magnetic heading data.

The optical tracking within OptoWOM works through the use of reference images. A reference image is literally a picture of the horizon in a given direction. Within the reference image the system identifies a constellation of identifiable features. Then, from any subsequent image collected by the camera, heading is determined by comparing those images back to the most appropriate reference. As long as the system can identify 10% of a previously collected reference, it can provide an accurate assessment of the change in heading

The WOM weapon orientation module provides a level of performance previously unseen in the world of miniature 3DOF orientation systems. WOM employs the use of three axes each of gyroscopes, accelerometers, and magnetometers to track both slow and fast movements of weapons in real-time. It houses propriety calibration techniques for soft- and hard-iron interference that are specific to the different weapon classes on which it can be used. Calibrations are able to be performed quickly and easily by minimally trained individuals without requiring any precise movements.

In operation WOM has embedded intelligence that allows it to assess each operational situation and determine the best means of providing accurate orientation output. When operating in a poor magnetic environment, WOM identifies this and adjusts its algorithms accordingly to maintain accuracy even in the presence of long term magnetic disturbances. When in a static position, WOM identifies this and adjusts its operation to both maintain accuracy and minimize power consumption at the same time.

Additionally, WOM has weapon specific algorithms that tweak its method of operation specific to the weapon on which it is mounted. WOM has been tested on mounted to and tested on each of its supported weapons.
