The CYTX231 temperature transmitters send linearized data to a remote location for a data acquisition system or a recorder using a 4-20 or 0-20mA signal. Standard Curve #10 chart shown in the T section is in memory for the silicon diode sensor and excitation of 10A is provided. The CYTX231P operates like the CYTX231SD but uses a 100Ohm platinum RTD sensor. Excitation provided is 500A and a DIN 437600 standard curve is provided in memory. The CYTX231 Series must be used with one of the CYTX-ENCLOSURES.

Models DRA-TCI-2 and DRA-RTI-2 are linearized temperature transmitters that produce a 4-20 mA process signal that is directly proportional to temperature. These transmitters have exceptionally high input to output common mode rejection (CMR), a high degree of filtering that eliminates false output signals and provides a low ripple current. Model DRA-TCI-2 is available for thermocouple types J, K, T, E, R, S or B and provides exceptional temperature linearization by applying eight segment linearization circuitry. Model DRA-RTD-2 accepts 2 or 3 wire Pt-100 RTDs, alpha = 0.00385. Both models are field rangeable using a set of six internal dip switches for coarse ranging and front accessible zero and span potentiometers for fine adjustment. Test terminals are provided to monitor the transmitter's 4-20 mA output without disturbing the actual process loop.

The TXDIN101 is a computerized, PC programmable, galvanically isolated two-wire smart transmitter. The unit converts 13 types of thermocouple sensors; 12 types of RTD sensors, configured as 2-, 3- and 4-wires; potentiometer, resistor and millivolt inputs, single or differential into process current loop. Integral 3% digits LED display forms a transmitter monitor unit which is visiable in dark installations. The light intensity varies as a function of the current loop, which serves as the light energy source 24-bit A/D converter and two microprocessors are the heart of the outstanding performance. The transmitter can be set and wired to perform differential measurement conversions of temperature sensors as well as mV sources. The output current is temperature linearized and can be set to be 4 to 20/20 to 4mA or any range within these limits. The current is limited to 3.9 and 22 mA.The TXDIN101 samples and updates the output current in a rate of 2 to 4 samples per second depends on the sensor type. The transmitter is fully configurable in dry-configuration mode by which the connection to PC is performed with no external power source. The configuration parameters are stored in a nonvolatile memory. Exceptional digital accuracy of typically 0.1C is provided for most sensors regardless of the calibrated span. Internal Pt-100 temperature sensor provides precise cold junction compensation throughout the entire ambient range. Detection of sensor breakage or disconnection of input leads, forces the output to a predefined up/down scale value. The unit continuously monitors the sensor and automatically returns to normal operation mode when the sensor is recovered. The TXDIN101 is housed in a plastic enclosure mounted on a standard DIN rail. Special red filter is provided for optimal view.

The PRTXB and PRTXAL series are 2-wire transmitters that provide 4 to 20 mA signal representing temperature linearized. The front keypad is used for power on/off, min/max functions, selection of deg F, C or K, auto shutoff times (for battery models), calibration and configuration options. User-defined pass codes for configuration and calibration to prevent unauthorized changes.

It provides 2 channels of configurable inputs, and supports multiple voltage, RTD, thermocouple inputs with auto reference junction compensation. If parallel connected to an external precise resistance, it accepts current signal input. Each channel has its own digital filtering and can adjust its filtering degree.

TX900 Series transmitters feature dip switch selection of input type and range. The following models are available: TX901 (non-isolated, accepts J, K,T, E, R or S thermocouples); TX903 (isolated, accepts J, K, T, E, R or S thermocouples; TX904 (non-isolated, accepts 100 ohm Pt RTD's 2- or 3- wire); TX905 (non-isolated, millivolt input).

The 450 series themometers consist of a familiy of highly reliable precision, hand held temperature measurement instruments. Models are available for most thermocouple types as well as RTD and thermistor temperature sensors.

The HX300 Series Transmitter is designed for industrial environments requiring fast, stable and accurate measurements. It utilizes a highly stable thin film polymer capacitor to sense relative humidity, and a high accuracy thin film RTD to accurately sense temperature.

The FMA1000 Series industrial air velocity/ temperature transmitter/indicator measures and displays air velocity as well as air temperature in research and development labs, HVAC applications, and other manufacturing processes. The sensor design is based on three RTD elements, one measures air temperature and the other two measure air velocity by measuring the heat loss from the RTD sensor as it cools down by the air flow. The FMA1000 series offers many standard features such as display of air velocity and temperature, two analog outputs corresponding to air velocity and temperature, high and low voltage alarm outputs, USB serial interface, and Windows® based data logging software. The FMA1000 displays the air velocity in different engineering units such as FPM, m/sec, miles/hour, and km/hour. The air temperature is displayed in °C or °F.

Unmatched Electrical Performance
Two-wire Operation Power is obtained directly from the 4 to 20 mA loop, with no need for separate power input. This simplifies field wiring and eliminates the possibility of noise pickup from power lines.
Isolation to 1500 V rms (2100 Vp)
This exceptionally high CMV rating from the input to the case or output eliminates the possibility of electrical ground loops between the signal source and the receiver. It also provides a high degree of protection for the receiver against electrical hazards, such as accidental contact between the signal source and an AC power line.
Turndown Ratio
Turndown ratio is defined as zero suppression divided by span. The exceptionally high 10:1 turndown ratio possible with the TX1500 Series indicates that wide zero offset can be combined with narrow signal span for closed loop control at high gain. The signal span can also be wide for control of batch operations, where a wide range of signal levels may be encountered over the entire batch cycle.

The non-isolated TX90A Series transmitters convert thermocouple or RTD signals into a 4 to 20 mA dc signal output that is directly referenced to the mV input of a thermocouple or resistance of a 100 Ohm platinum RTD.
For thermocouple transmitters, the 4 to 20mA output is not linearized. T/C transmitters are available for type K, J, T, and E with color coding for each T/C type. The transmitters for RTD's are available with the 4 to 20mA output directly proportional to the input resistance or with the 4 to 20mA output linearized to tempearature.
Note, RTD's are slightly non-linear with the resistance diverging from actual temperature by approximately 1% at the mid point of full scale. (For linearized RTD transmitters, specify RTD-L. Non-linearized transmitters are the more popular choice).

Loop Powered! The OMEGA^® 2-wire SPRTX-SS Series temperature transmitters are high-performance, low-cost, industrial transmitters designed for direct connection to most CIP (clean-in-place) sanitary Pt100 probes and sensors that incorporate a M12 style connection. All models feature an encapsulated micro miniature signal conditioner built into a sealed connector housing. The signal conditioner converts the resistive change of a 100 Ω, 0.00385 RTD probe or sensor into an industry-standard 2-wire, 4 to 20 mA analog output across a dedicated temperature range.

The economical OMEGA TX91 and TX92 two-wire transmitters provide an output current of 4-20 mA proportional to the mV signal of a thermocouple or to a two- or three-wire RTD sensor input.
The TX91 or TX92 is very compact and can mount directly within OMEGA's NB1 cast iron protection head. By having the transmitter near the sensor, the effects of electrical noise can be minimized and long runs of thermocouple wire can be eliminated.

Models TX93, TX94 and TX95 transmitters can eliminate long runs of costly field wiring in a variety of applications. A stable 4 to 20 mA output signal is provided proportional to the transmitters specific input type and calibrated temperature range (see Range Code Table below). Adjustability of 25% for zero and span is provided to facilitate some rangeability.

The HX93AC and HX93DAC transmitter provides remote or on-site monitoring of relative humidity and temperature. Both series output a linearized current or voltage signal proportional to the measured humidity or temperature. The HX93DA Series features dual built-in displays for local indication of both humidity and temperature. RH outputs are temperature compensated. Current output models enable placing of the transmitter at a remote location virtually any distance away from the readout or datalogging device. Units utilizes a thin-film polymer capacitor to sense relative humidity, and a Platinum 100 Ohm RTD to accurately sense temperature. A stainless steel mesh type filter protects the sensors, which is easily removable for cleaning. Mounting screws are easily accessible inside the rugged, ABS enclosure, which houses and protects the electronics to NEMA 13 specifications. A regulated power supply providing a voltage of 6-30V powers the HX93AC. An unregulated power supply providing a voltage of 12-24V powers the HX93DAC.

The TX12 head mounted temperature transmitter connects to any standard pt100 resistance sensor and converts the linearized temperature to a 4 to 20 mA signal. The transmitter is a two wire device, and is fully configurable by the user, over a wide temperature range, with the aid of a simple push button. This new TX12 design incorporates additional configuration menus, allowing the user to push button trim the transmitter output at both zero and span, ideal for trimming out sensor errors. The transmitters advanced circuitry guaranties high stability over the wide operating ambient temperature ranges experienced by head mounted devices. One of the transmitters features is the program LED, which provides visual indication of sensor fault when in normal operation and is also used to guide the operator through the simple menus during configuration.

The economical OMEGA TX92G transmitter provides an output current of 4-20 mA proportional to the mV signal of a two wire RTD sensor input. The TX92G is very compact and mounts directly with OMEGA's NB1 cast iron protection heads.

The HX94 relative humidity/ temperature transmitter provides a reliable and low cost method for duct mount monitoring applications. Solid state sensors provide excellent sensitivity, fast response, and stability. Simple hookup and linearized output permit interfacing with most display and control devices.

The TX62, TX63, TX64, TX65 programmable transmitters provide an isolated 4 to 20 mA signal linearized to temperature or process input. The TX62 & TX63 smart transmitters provide the same functions as the TX64 & TX65 with the additional feature of smart communications. Smart communications lets one calibrate, reconfigure or check status right at the transmitter via the TX60-HH or from a remote location with the TX60-RS232. The TX60-HH is a battery operated handheld terminal that connects to the output of the transmitter anywhere along the pair of loop wires. The TX60-RS232 connects the same way and provides a 25-pin RS-232 connection for use with a remote PC.

The PRTXD Series are two-wire transmitters that provide a 4 to 20 mA signal representing temperature. The units include a 3 1/2 digit display and the RTD sensor. The NEMA 4X (IP66) housing protects the electronics.

TX250 Series
Thermocouple Input
The TX250 Series are non-isolated two-wire transmitter which convert the T/C thermoelectric voltage into a standardized load-independent, 4 to 20 mA process current.
The TX250 Series are housed in metal enclosures and fit into NB1 connection heads. The transmitter's enclosure provides excellent RFI immunity.
The transmitter calibration is set by six dip-switches located behind the top cover. There are three basic models which cover the various T/C types. TX251 is for T/C types K, T and J; TX252 is for type E and TX253 is for type R and S.
Dip-switch arrays select the T/C type, and set the "Zero" coarse level and the "Span" coarse range.
Zero and Span trimmers provide the fine tuning calibration.

OMEGA ultra-miniature temperature transmitters convert millivolt inputs from thermocouples or resistance from RTDs into 4 to 20 mA outputs. Transmitters are available in color-coded enclosures covering the four most popular thermocouple types (J, K, T, and E) as well as three-wire 100 Ω platinum RTDs. Featuring state-of-the-art integrated circuits and electronic design, these ultra-compact transmitters have a diameter of only 35.6 mm (1.40") and are designed to fit inside many compact thermowell protection heads, such as the OMEGA NB2. The TX86 is a 2-wire Loop-Powered, Galvanic-Isolated, Programmable Universal Input Temperature Transmitter that is designed to be head-mounted, but can be standalone as well. It uses 16 bits A/D and D/A converters offering high accuracy with Linearized 4 to 20 mA or 20 to 4 mA outputs. Being a user-friendly rugged instrument, it displays the measured variable and has a SSR output.
