ISO 45004 provides guidance to organizations on how to establish monitoring, measurement, analysis and evaluation processes, including the development of relevant indicators for the evaluation of occupational safety and health (OSH) performance.

Its implementation makes it possible to determine whether the expected results are being achieved, including the continuous improvement of OSH performance. Applicable to any type of organization, it can be used independently or as part of OSH management systems.
