Ideal for use as PCB and DIN rail mounted component housings, the UL listed 1554/1555 family of enclosures from Hammond comes in an ever-expanding variety of sizes, with all size options available in general purpose ABS or UV stabilized polycarbonate plastic. 

ABS versions are ideal for indoor use and are designed to meet IP66. Polycarbonate versions are molded in UV stabilized plastic which resists sun damage in outdoor conditions. PC versions are designed to meet IP68 (NEMA 4, 4X, 6, 6P). 

Polycarbonate versions are available with a solid lid, clear lid, or translucent smoke lid. Clear lid replacements are available and are compatible with all bases in the standard 1554/1555 series (does not include flanged 1555F).

Most sizes include integrated DIN rail tabs and optional galvanized steel panels are available. Wallmount holes are located outside the gasket channel, and optional mounting feet accessories can be installed in the same holes if desired. All styles include a silicone gasket.
