Insulation Resistance
a. Under normal condition, the insulation resistance between the wire (terminals) and the exterior insulation housing shall be no less than 100MΩ. (DC500V)
b. After thermal breaking, the insulation resistance between the contacts should be no less than 2MΩ.

Electric Strength
a. The contact of the thermal protector, after disjunction, shall endure the working frequency of 50Hz, voltage of AC720V and duration of 1min, without arc over (leak current value 5mA).
b. The outgoing lines or terminals of the thermal protector and their exterior insulation housing shall endure the working frequency of 50Hz, voltage of 1500V and duration 1 min, without arc over (leak current value 5mA).

Durability
a. After 18 days of rotor blocking of the electromotor with thermal protector, the electromotor is still working and has no dangerous damage and the accessories are free of all obstacles.
b. In the condition of rated voltage and current, the thermal protector can be on and off normally after the ambient heat source makes it work in 10,000 cycles.
