Yaskawa America, Inc. is pleased to announce the newest additions to the Industrial Drive line. The expansion includes:
- FP605 configured packages
- FP605 electronic bypass packages
- FP605 factory ready flange drives
- U1000 Type 12 configured packages
In addition, the FP605’s TUV (Functional Safety) declaration of conformity is now available. The FP605 and U1000 are available for sale today.
1 HP to 600 HP Configured Packages
The FP605 configured packages provide an FP605 in a UL Type 1, UL Type 12, or UL Type 3R enclosure, with space for several commonly used options. Visit the FP605 enclosed configured product page for more information.
The FP605 configured power range:
- 208 V: 1 to 150 HP*
- 240 V: 1 to 150 HP*
- 480 V: 1 to 600 HP*
*UL Type 3R begins at 5 HP
1 HP to 250 HP Electronic Bypass Packages
The FP605 bypass packages provide an FP605 with intelligent electronic bypass in a UL Type 1, UL Type 12, or UL Type 3R enclosure, with space for several commonly used options. Visit the FP605 enclosed bypass product page for more information.

Flange Type (IP55/UL Type 12 Backside)
Flange drives provide a dust-tight IP55/UL Type 12 backside solution for mounting drives in Type 12 enclosures with its heatsink external. This new capability is available as special factory-built models for the following FP605 models: 208/240V: FP65U2211AWA ~ 2396AWA (75 – 150 HP), 480V: FP65U4180AWA ~ 4720AWA (150 – 600 HP). All other models can be field modified into IP55/UL Type 12 backside flange drives using our flange kits.
U1000 UL Type 12 Enclosed Configured
The U1000 Industrial Matrix Drive is a total all-in-one solution for low harmonics and/or full regeneration, and is the ultimate choice for power quality and energy savings. In addition to our UL Type 1 and UL Type 3R configured packages, the U1000 now has enclosed UL Type 12 packages to provide a degree of protection against dust, dirt, fibers, and dripping non-corrosive liquid. The U1000 UL Type 12 configured products are available from 7.5 HP through 150 HP at 480 V.
