Performance Specifications
Coefficient of Friction (Normal)       The coefficient of friction (μ) of a material under normal temperature conditions. The coefficient of friction (μ) of a material determines the retarding force (Ffriction) produced when two sliding surfaces are held against each other by an applied normal force (N). The equation concerning the process is Ffriction = μN.
Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
Coefficient of Friction (Hot)       The coefficient of friction (μ) of a material under hot temperature conditions producing after the friction material have been used in a brake, clutch or power transmission system.
Max Use Temperature       This is the maximum temperature that the material can be exposed to momentarily, without the degradation of structural, friction or other required end-use properties.
Search Logic:      User may specify either, both, or neither of the "At Least" and "No More Than" values. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
