| Protractor | The reticle has a protractor pattern. | ||

| Spot / Dot | The reticle has a pattern consisting of a single or several dots. | ||
| Vertical Line | The reticle has a pattern consisting of a single or several vertical lines. | ||
| Whipple | A whipple reticle has a grid pattern with a single grid further divided into a varying grid. | ||
| Other | Any other reticle type not listed. | ||
