Plymouth, MN, (September, 2008) Mar Cor Purification announced that it has released an upgraded on line water training program, specifically developed for the Dialysis community. The on-line program has 12 distinct classes, each with an exam, which covers water purification from feed water chemistry to the individual unit operations used to produce AAMI grade water. The upgrade allows classes to be taken at any time by the student with immediate grading of tests and issuance of completion certificates. Options are available for CEU units per class and non- CEU units. The program, developed and expanded over several years, is a valuable tool to help educate dialysis personnel in the operation and maintenance of water purification equipment in the clinic environment. The training program is accessible from the Mar Cor website (www.mcpur.com/main/training) or direct at (www.dialysiswatersolution.com). The training can be used to maintain staff capabilities, to educate new employees and or to maintain certification requirements. All of these are necessary to provide the best water quality to ensure patient care.
