thermoMETER CTlasers provide the most accurate method of infrared inline temperature measurement in the industry. As different wavelengths are required fordifferent applications, , CTlaser sensors are available with a range of spectral ranges to suit every measurement task. For example, in metal processing applications, the CTlaser M1/M2/M3 models operate using wavelengths of between 1µm and 2.3µm. Standard models operate with wavelengths between 8µm to 14µm. thermoMETER CTlaser IR sensors are always suitable for temperature measurements between -50°C and 1,800°C. The sensor is aligned very precisely with the target and so faulty measurements caused by background objects are prevented. The sensors have a very compact design and can be equipped with different lenses. Each thermoMETER provides extensive output options. A fieldbus interface on Profibus DP, Ethernet or CAN bus is possible. USB, RS232, RS485, current or voltage output are also available. An extensive range of accessories increases the potential applications for these sensors.
