Applied Separations is the manufacturer of full lines of:
- Supercritical Fluid Systems (SCF)
- Accelerated Solvent Extraction systems (ase/pse/pfe)
- Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) products
Supercritical Fluids (SCF)
Applied Separations’ SCF line features systems ranging in size from laboratory/analytical scale to pilot plants to full scale production units. Having placed systems in over 50 countries, Applied Separations has the equipment for your every need, whether it be natural products extractions, reactions in non-solvent environments, producing nanoparticles, drying NASA aerogels, or even making bread. And this is just the beginning. Explore the green technology of supercritical fluids. Applied Separations will work with you to pin-point your needs and determine the feasibility of your project.
Accelerated Solvent Extraction (ase/pse/pfe)
Although accelerated solvent extraction (ase) replaced the slow, traditional soxhlet method saving time, money and solvents, Applied Separations improved accelerated solvent extraction. The fast PSE and one PSE were developed to answer a requirement for even faster extraction turn around, by doing 6 extractions at one time. Imagine, they have users doing over 120 PCB soil extractions in an 8 hour shift
Solid Phase Extraction
Applied Separations has an expanded SPE line that includes:
- empty and sorbent filled polypropylene columns and accessories,
- 96-well plates filled with SPE packings,
- Flash Chromatography products
- Oil and Grease disks for EPA Method 1664A.
