Conductix-Wampfler has been a pioneer in light metal, safe, covered conductor systems for the material handling industry since 1944. Conductix-Wampfler was the first company to design and produce a stainless steel capped aluminum conductor and the only manufacturer of such a product for almost 20 years.

Right now, there are over 20 million meters of Conductix-Wampfler contact conductors and tens of thousands of collecting devices throughout the world. Every major port in the United States is using Conductix-Wampfler aluminum/stainless steel contact conductors on its container cranes due to its dependability under the most severe conditions.

Conductix-Wampfler has been in the business of supplying power from stationary sources to mobile systems for a greater part of this century. Their cable reels, slip rings, conductor bar, festoon systems and pendants are used in a wide variety of applications ranging from material handling and mass transit systems to water treatment plants and performing arts theaters.
