Secure Communication Systems (Secure) was established in 1986 as a turnkey manufacturer for the National Security Agency (NSA). The company has expanded beyond their work for the NSA and their products play vital roles in all branches of the military. They have developed partnerships with many prime contractors supplying design and manufacturing services on major government contracts.
Secure products are battle-proven and have an enviable record of reliability whether they are used for shipboard, airborne, or ground mobile applications. That is why the U.S. Air Force chose Secure to build their Mission Planning Systems for use in their F-15 and F-16 fighters, F-117 stealth fighters, and B-52 and B-1 bombers. The U.S. Navy also implemented Secure products in their Los Angeles class submarines.
When the Army needed a ruggedized kneeboard computer to provide their helicopter pilots with airborne situational awareness, Secure answered the call. Initially installed on Army Apache helicopters, the Air Warrior EDM Tablet PC became an indispensible tool to Army pilots and the system-of-choice for the Air Warrior Program (PDF). To date, over four thousands of EDMs have been deployed to Army aviators, many of them serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
