Spectrocell, Inc is a sister company of Precision Glass Products Corp, a technical glass manufacturer since 1955. Spectrocell, however, specialized in optical cells, spectrophotometer cells, cells for fluorimeters and colorimeters, blood chemistry cuvettes, flow cells and man others.
Spectrocell is the only company in the U.S. that manufactures a complete line of cells and cuvettes in the United States. Most popular varieties are available from stock and are shipped within one day of your order. Less common types are generally available in 1 to 2 weeks. Spectrocell was the first company to offer threaded-top cells (screw caps) anywhere. These are available in both glass and quartz, and they offer the largest variety of cells with this feature, many in stock. Threaded-top cells have the most secure, leak-proof closure of any cell type.
No descriptions of Spectrocell would be complete without mention of their special ability to provide custom-designed cells. They manufacture these in large quantities for resale and OEM manufacturers, or as few as one unit for special research projects. Spectrocell has manufactured such special cells and optical chambers for NASA experiments in micro-gravity (reprints of NASA article available upon request).
