CSIRO Manufacturing & Infrastructure Technology (CMIT) was asked to develop a best practice method for testing the cure and strength of structural concrete in the field. Ideally, test samples should be cured under the same conditions as the structure in the field. The aim being to allow for formwork to be removed and construction advanced at the earliest possible time, as soon as the concrete has reached adequate strength. Normal testing requires large margins for error due to variations in ambient conditions between test and field site locations. Products & Services
Rubber adhesives and rubber sealants are highly flexible, natural or synthetic materials that are used to join components or fill gaps between seams or on surfaces.
Polymer concrete and mortar are binders, compounds, and aggregate mixtures that use epoxy, polyester, vinyl ester or other polymer resin bonds. They cure or set through chemical reactions, thermoset bonds, and multiple component binder systems.
Cement blocks and precast concrete products are concrete structures manufactured in a plant and ready for installation on site. The variety of precast products ranges from in ground shelters to distribution transformer pads.
Specialty cement, concrete and mortar contain specialized binders such as K silicate, calcium aluminate, sulfur, and oxysulfate or polymer resins. They cure or set through film drying (air setting), chemical reactions, thermoset bonds, hydraulic bonds, hot melting, and multiple component binder systems.
Anchors are used to attach an object to a support structure. Common types include concrete anchors, expansion anchors, floor anchors, wall anchors, and specialty anchors.
