Motor-Run Capacitors

While electronic controllers such as variable speed drives (PWM inverter power source), brushless permanent magnet motors with electronic drives, and switched-reluctance motors are replacing some motor-run capacitors, these technologies are still expensive and limited to premium-priced appliances.
