Welding: Corner Joints
From Joining Technologies

The fifth major type of welding connection is the corner joint. As its name implies, this joint is used to connect two parts together to form a corner. This weld type is extremely useful and can be preformed with either a high or low energy density welder. There are a total of four common sub types of corner joint, each, as usual, with its own advantages and disadvantages.

Products & Services
Fiber optic termination and splicing equipment includes tools or kits for cutting, finishing, positioning, aligning and joining fiber optic cables.
Universal joints are flexible mechanical connections used to transmit rotary motion from one shaft to another shaft that is not in line with the first, or when alignment varies during service.
Soldering irons, stations and accessories bond two or more metallic surfaces together with a low melting alloy solder such as tin/lead or Sn/Cu/Ni/Ge alloys, which is melted, wets the surface and resolidifies forming a soldered joint.
Welding accessories includes products used in, or related to, processes such as MIG, TIG and resistance.
Industrial robots are programmable mechanical devices that contain rotary and/or prismatic joints in order to perform precise, repetitive movements. Types of industrial robots include articulated, Cartesian, cylindrical, gantry, parallel (hexapods), SCARA, and spherical.
