Quite often we are asked how to trip an alarm with a high current input signal. An engineering company is constructing a system to test solenoids. The circuit typically generates a current flow of 1 Amp. A 0.5W 1 Watt precision resistor connected in series with the current loop produces a 500 millivolt signal. This 500mV signal becomes the input to a Slimpak G108-0001 Limit Alarm. A Hi alarm is indicated if the solenoid is drawing too much current and a Lo alarm if the solenoid is drawing insufficient current. Products & Services
Ion specific electrode meters are millivolt meters that interface with ion selective electrodes (ISEs). These meters take the potential generated by the electrode and convert it into units of concentration.
Specialty or proprietary products and accessories related to solenoids.
Overload relays prevent an electric motor from drawing too much current and overheating; includes thermal and solid state overload types.
Potentiostats and galvanostats are electrochemical instruments used in electrochemistry, battery and fuel cell testing, corrosion control, voltammetry, biomedical research, surface imaging, and related applications.
Electrical inductance sensors measure the inductance of an electrical component or system.
