Surface hardening processes include ion implantation, diffusion surface treatment processes such as (carburizing, nitriding or Kolsterising®), and localized or induction surface heatment. Surface hardening processes are well suited for improving the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of selected areas of machines, such as the cutting edges of earth-moving machinery. Hardfacing is a coating or depostion process that can also produce hard or hardenable surface layers by welding materials with different properties to a substrate. Products & Services
Finishing and surface treatment services pretreat or finish the surfaces of manufactured components to meet roughness or surface condition requirements.

Heat treating services perform thermal treatments to modify the properties of metals and metal alloys. Common processes include annealing, austempering, case hardening, conventional hardening, homogenizing, hot isostatic pressing (HIP), martempering, normalizing, precipitation hardening, shot peening, solution treating, spheroidizing, stabilizing, and stress relieving.
