External drive circuitry transducers have a single coil and a magnetic circuit composed of a permanent magnet, an iron core, a highly permeable metal disk and a vibrating diaphragm. The disk and diaphragm are attracted to the core by the magnet's magnetic field. When an oscillating signal moves through the coil, it creates a fluctuating magnetic drive that vibrates the diaphragm at the drives signal's frequency. A sound is produced based on the frequency applied. Products & Services
Audio transducers and buzzers are used in electronic equipment, toys and various warning devices as the sounding component.

Magnetostrictive position sensors are non-contact linear position sensors that use the momentary interaction of two magnetic fields to produce a strain pulse that moves along a waveguide. One field is from a magnet that moves along the outside of the waveguide. The other field is from the waveguide itself.

The basic structure of the speaker and the receiver is almost the same; the diaphragm generates the sound by the reaction upon the sound coil and magnet.
