Linear Bushings
|
Linear bushings are sometimes called ball bushings, round rail bearings, or recirculating ball bearings. They contain recirculating linear bushings, a shaft, shaft support, and carriage. Shaft supports are available in two different styles: continuous support and end support. The recirculating balls are spaced evenly around the bushing to make contact. Because the surface area is small, the frictional resistance is also small; however, the accuracy and smoothness are poor. With linear bushings, the carriage is usually mounted to the bushing on two separate but parallel shafts. Products & Services
