Web Coaters and Roll Coaters

Web coaters and roll coaters are used to rapidly apply controlled layers of paint, protective films, adhesives and other types of coatings onto the surface of paper, plastic film, coil stock, metal foils and other sheet materials. The coating is often metered onto a roll and then transferred onto the moving web. Other web coating and roll coating technologies include extrusion or slot die coaters, spray coaters and curtain coaters. Narrow web, wire or reel-to-reel coaters are included in this category. Reel-to-reel or narrow web products include wire, lead frames, connectors, mechanical cable, wire rope, magnet wire, communication cable, wire and decorative wire, strip and fiber roving.
