Fully Automated Co-Extruder Retrofitted with Modern Controls

Plastics Process Technology Group (PPTG), of Brampton, Ont., retrofits co-extruders to extend the service life and improve efficiency. They cost-effectively automate co-extruders with a combination of Omron's CP1H programmable controllers, E5ZN temperature controllers, NS-series touch screens and 3G3-series AC drives. Up to 32 zones are supported and machine communication uses standard, high-speed DeviceNet.
