An Overview

The Gene Quiz tool provides information about biological sequences through an interactive environment. You can access the Gene Quiz tool from http://columba.ebi.ac.uk:8765/. This tool has a Web-based user interface. It helps identify the sequence of proteins and other bio-chemical structures within a gene.

The Gene Quiz tool has the following features:

• Large sequence analysis: Provides an accurate analysis of large number of biological sequences in the field of Biotechnology.

• Automated tool: Provides an automated analysis of biological sequences. Computational algorithms are used to analyze these sequences.

• Speed and reliability: Enables rapid processing of queries and provides accurate results.

• Predicts protein function by sequence homology: Helps study homologies in biological sequences and predicts the function of proteins.
