Indexing for Regenerative MinPak Plus and FlexPak Plus Controllers
From reliance.com
Automatic or manual indexing of the regenerative FlexPak Plus drive can be accomplished by adding a control relay with gold contacts. A suggested relay is a Potter-Brumfield relay type KUP or KVP. The indexing signal can be a push button contact closure or a contact closure from a controller. The figure illustrates the indexing schematic and wiring diagram. Only qualified electrical personnel familiar with the construction and operation of this equipment and the hazards involved should install, adjust, operate or service this equipment. Read and understand applicable manuals in their entirety before proceeding. Failure to observe this precaution could result in severe bodily injury or loss of life The drive runs when operator presses index push button and stops when he releases it. It can be replaced by a customer contact if desirable. Also, a contact should be used off the C/R relay to indicate zero speed visually or audibly. It should be activated when the index button is released.

Products & Services
Rotary indexing tables are used to index components in defined, angular increments so that they can be machined, worked, or assembled in multiple operations. Tables can have fixed or adjustable indexing angles.
Index drives are used to start and stop a table, conveyor or other equipment at precise intervals. Types of index drives include cam index drives, ring index drives, and roller gear index drives.
Electromechanical relays are devices that complete or interrupt a circuit by physically moving electrical contacts into contact with each other.
Punch presses are designed for stamping, punching, bending, shearing, converting, and assembly operations.
Tool turrets are indexing tool holders for lathes, transfer machines, and other machine tools. They allow equipment to carry multiple cutting tools at one time and mount individual tools in the correct sequence.
