Manufacturer Process Control

As described in the preceding Process Control Summary and throughout the METALAST web site, the benefits of industrial process control are enormous. Over the years, in most industries, all types of computers have overwhelmingly demonstrated their ability to improve quality, enhance productivity, increase control and provide a wide variety of reports and documentation. The METALAST IPC Pro Series controllers are no different than similar types of process controllers already available in other industries. The primary difference is that METALAST has provided the metal finishing industry reliable process control computers since 1996 and has logged in excess of 50 million amp hours of verifiable field use. In metal finishing, characteristics including appearance, tolerances, wear and corrosion resistance, smoothness, and coating consistency are primarily determined in the Primary Process Bath. The Primary Process Bath is the process bath that is connected to the power supply or rectifier. It is the bath where the piece parts or products receive the process finish (i.e. anodize, gold, silver, nickel, chrome plate, etc.).
