From Euchner-U.S.A., Inc.
The safety switches in the STM family with plastic housing and metal head (STM.A) have been extended with a new member: the STM.N with plastic head. Due to its small design, the STM series is particularly suitable for applications in which excellent reliability is required in combination with small dimensions. Thanks to the choice between a metal or plastic head, you can find the perfect switch for every application. The switches are 100% compatible with any installation and so give you the required flexibility to find the right switch for your application. The safety switch STM has separate contact elements for guard locking monitoring and door monitoring. Guard locking monitoring is performed using a positive opening NC contact. For door monitoring, there is a contact element with two switching elements which is available with two positive opening NC contacts or one positive opening NC contact and one NO contact. The switch contacts switch a minimum current of 1 mA. The safety switch STM is thus suitable for use in safe control systems. Products & Services
Safety sensors are used for machine safeguarding. Types of safety sensors are break-a-beam switches, interlocks and tag out devices, perimeter guards, photoelectric safety sensors, safety blocks, safety interlock switches, and safety sensor switches.
