Four Sidewall Types – “Bowed” Square Tubes
From ppgintl.com
Paramount Tube offers a unique tube adaptation process called “Bow” for square and rectangular tubes. Bow is defined as a tube having sides that are convex, meaning that the sidewalls of the tube are slightly curved away from the center of the tube. Paramount Tube offers four different degrees of bowed sidewalls; Paraformed, Very Slight, Slight and Regular. The indication for use of bowed tubes is when the tube is wrapped tightly with magnetic wire during the transformer manufacturers winding process. A tightly wound coil has the ability to place a certain degree of negative pressure against the outer walls of the tube. This negative pressure can cause the walls of the inner core to collapse thus making the coil defective. If the walls collapse, the steel laminations (E shaped) cannot be properly inserted into the center of the core.

Products & Services
Crucibles are vessels used to melt and process materials at high temperatures.
Tube bending and fabrication equipment is used to produce finished parts from tubes and pipes. Operations include bending, swaging, flaring, notching, fixturing, assembling and beading.
Tube bending and pipe bending services produce finished parts from tubes and pipes. They perform processes such as CNC bending, hydroforming, mandrel bending, ram bending, roll ending, heat bending, and sand packing.
Medical tubing is made from a variety of materials and is typically sterilized and small in diameter. Glass, metal, plastic, and rubber silicone tubing are used in a variety of medical applications.
Heat exchangers are commonly used in a wide variety of industrial, chemical, and electronics processes to transfer energy and provide required heating or cooling.
