Capacitive Discharge

From Jennings Technology Company

The prime concern in capacitive discharge circuits is the ability of the vacuum relay to handle large amounts of surge current stored in the capacitor. Vacuum relays are often used in high voltage circuits to protect personnel by shorting out (bleeding) a capacitive circuit to ground once the high voltage

Products & Services
High voltage relays are used to transfer power for high voltage and high frequency applications. They are heavily insulated and consist of strong materials to increase contact life. Search by Specification | Learn more about High Voltage Relays
Motor starters and contactors are motor-starting devices. They combine a contactor with overload protection and are designed for starting AC or DC motors. Search by Specification | Learn more about Motor Starters and Contactors
Specialty relays and accessories are specialty or proprietary products and accessories related to relays. Learn more about Specialty Relays and Accessories
