Characteristics of Bakelite Plates
MISUMI's Bakelite Plates are products which can be used as insulating plates for switch boards, controllers, breakers and other parts. Paper base type is available in natural color and black, and a strong cloth type is also available.

Characteristics of Epoxy Glass Plates
Compared with paper base type bakelite plates or cloth type bakelite plates, MISUMI's Epoxy Glass Plates have high strength (mechanical strength), excellent heat resistance and moisture resistance. They are new materials that contain no asbestos. High insulating performance of MISUMI's Insulation Plates comes from glass fiber based laminated plywood with a high heat binder. Four grades of heat insulating plates are available to meet each specification.

Characteristics of Insulating Plates
CStandard Grade:It is suitable for a use of a heat resistant structural material for heating presses and die spacers. CHigh Strength Grade:It has excellent compression and bending strength properties and is suitable for a use of heat insulating material for a wide range of dies and heating furnaces. CHigh Temperature Resisting Grade:It maintains compression strength property under high temperature and is suitable for a use of heat resisting and insulating material for the outside of electric furnaces. CHeat Resisting Grade:It can be used as a heat resisting structural material in much higher temperatures and is more cost effective than the standard grade.

Characteristics of High Insulating Plates
Misumi's Insulation Plates are light-weighted and provides excellent heat insulation effect. The Heat Insulation Plates make it possible to improve operational environment such as heat reservation of equipment, prevention of burns with a low cost.
