Industrial Basket Strainer FPT offers an extensive line of industrial basket strainers and filters, standard and custom. Industrial strainers include: General Service Strainers YS (Wye type) Series Chemical Resistant FRP Strainers various filters and drains. General Service Strainers (GS) F.P.T. utilizes a composite laminate construction for strainer bodies to provide structural strength. Chemical resistance is maintained by providing wetted surfaces of PVC Type 1, CPVC, Polypropylene or PVDF. All strainers are rated for 150 PSI at 73 deg. F. Higher operating temperatures are allowable based upon the material selection. In addition to Industrial Applications and Chemical Resistant Applications, Fluidtrol's strainers are supplied to critical applications in some of America's top water attractions, large aquariums, commercial pools & water parks. FRP Chemical Resistant Strainers P-Series is a Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic strainer system manufactured with premium grades of vinylester resin: Derakane 411 or Hetron 922. Fluidtrol Strainers feature a five part construction. These strainers are chemically tolerant of many industrial and process chemicals. The list is too long to include on this page. Wye Type Non-Metallic Series Wye Type (YS Series) strainers are available in sizes 3" and up. The design of the YS/Wye Type Series allows for in-line piping in either a vertical or a horizontal orientation. The YS series is available in wetted parts of PVC, CPVC, PP and PVDF. In addition, an all-FRP unit is available. All wye units feature a cleanout valve. This eliminates the need for removing the basket when performing routine cleaning. These strainers are made for critical applications where high flow rates and high loading potential exists, while low pressure drops are desired.
