RUD received the first official approval in 1972 for the production of round steel chains to DIN 5684. In 1992 RUD was No. 1 for certification of the Quality Assurance System to DIN/ISO 9001. RUD was No. 1 in approval for VIP Special Quality in 1994. In 2001 RUD was the first chain manufacturer to receive the joint Quality & Environmental Management System certification to ISO 9001/ 14001.
