Applied Test Systems (ATS) was founded in 1965 with the mission of providing a line of affordable, yet uncompromising, materials testing equipment. Our ISO9001:2008 accredited manufacturing facility is complimented by an onsite ISO17025 accredited calibration department, as well as a team of skilled engineers ready to help you design a custom product for your application.

From the very beginning, we have succeeded in creating new products for emerging applications and have excelled in producing innovative new solutions to age-old materials testing problems. Our facility is located in Butler, Pennsylvania — with our manufacturing, development, sales, and engineering offices onsite. Communication between departments from beginning to end assures that your equipment, whether it is standard or custom, will built to last with the most precise results possible.

The ATS manufacturing facility is accredited to ISO9001:2008 by SRI Quality System Registrar, and our calibration laboratory is accredited to ISO17025 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
