BARTEC Introduces Modular Energy Distribution Panels for Hazardous Areas
BARTEC’s new Ex de Modular Energy Distribution Panel Series provides a configurable power distribution solution for hazardous-area applications. Certified according to ATEX and IECEx requirements, the panel series is suitable for installation in Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22 environments across the oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, and process industries.
The modular platform supports applications up to 1,000 A and can be configured with a wide range of switching, circuit protection, control, signaling, and cable-entry options. Available with corrosion-resistant GRP or robust stainless-steel enclosures, the panels operate in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +55°C, with an optional heater extending the lower limit to -40°C.
Integrated BARTEC ComEx Global control and signaling devices help simplify system design and operation. Flexible protection options include MCB, RCD, and RCBO configurations.
Designed for operators, system integrators, and EPC contractors, the scalable architecture supports greenfield installations, modernization projects, and brownfield upgrades. Individual sections can be expanded or modified as requirements change, reducing the need to replace complete systems. The modular design helps streamline engineering, accelerate installation, and simplify maintenance throughout the equipment lifecycle.
BARTEC supports projects from engineering and manufacturing through installation, commissioning, and long-term service, providing a single source for certified hazardous-area power distribution solutions.
