RTP Q-Switch for High-Speed Lasers
Featured Product from CRYSTECH, Inc.
As laser systems continue advancing toward higher repetition rates and broader wavelength operation, optical components increasingly require lower driving voltages, greater stability, and stronger resistance to high-power environments. Conventional electro-optic solutions may encounter limitations under demanding laser conditions.
The RTP Q-Switch is based on RTP crystal technology and is designed for high-speed laser modulation applications. Featuring a wide transmission range, high optical damage threshold, and low insertion loss, the device supports reliable operation across high repetition frequency environments while maintaining excellent temperature stability.
Its non-deliquescent crystal characteristics and absence of piezoelectric ringing make it especially suitable for applications requiring long-term stability and rapid pulse operation.
Key Features:
• Low operating voltage — as low as 2000V half-wave voltage
• Wide wavelength coverage: 420–2800 nm
• High optical damage threshold >10 J/cm² @1064nm
• High repetition rate performance up to 100 KHz
• Low insertion loss <1% @1064nm
• Wide operating temperature range: -50°C to +70°C
• No piezoelectric ringing effect for high-speed operation
