The thermal conductivity of DENSIMET® is three times higher than that of steel. This is crucial for the quality - particularly of cast components with complex shapes, such as cylinder heads or aluminum housings. Because our mold inserts can drain off heat so quickly, your cast parts get a very fine microstructure. This makes them very strong.

You can not only use DENSIMET® for your mold inserts. But also for your sprue bushes or filter inserts. The high thermal conductivity can even save you an additional cooling and reduces cycle times.

The low level of thermal expansion prevents heat checking cracks in the mold insert. And the tungsten alloy does not react with the aluminum melt. No metal residues adhere to the mold insert when the castings are removed. This frees you from time-intensive cleaning operations.
