Lynch Pins feature a cold formed shank with an "over center" ring loop attached to the head. This ring snaps down hard against the shank and holds the fastener in place. Lynch pins are often used in agricultural, trailer, and outdoor equipment applications as they continue to function through dirt, grit, mud, and rust. Often, lynch pins are tethered to the application with a steel or nylon lanyard.
