Product Overview
ZZWP Series self-operated temperature regulators use the thermal expansion of an incompressible, temperature-sensitive liquid to achieve automatic temperature control without an auxiliary actuator. As the sensor liquid expands or contracts with temperature, it directly drives the valve spool to regulate the flow of thermal media — keeping the controlled medium within the set temperature range.
Working Principle
When the controlled medium temperature rises above the set value, the temperature-sensitive liquid expands and pushes the spool to close the valve, reducing thermal media flow. When the temperature falls below the set value, the liquid contracts and a reset spring pushes the spool open, increasing flow. This cycle repeats continuously, keeping the medium temperature within the allowable range.
