PBN Crucibles

  • OLED Crucibles: These crucibles are widely used in the OLED (organic light-emitting diode) production process. They have the advantages of high temperature resistance, high purity, good heating uniformity, an extremely low outgassing rate at high temperatures, and good thermal shock resistance. In the OLED evaporation process, the PBN OLED crucible can precisely control the evaporation of organic materials, ensuring the quality and performance of OLED products.

  • VGF Crucibles: VGF (Vertical Gradient Freeze) crucibles are used for growing high-purity semiconductor single crystals. PBN VGF crucibles exhibit excellent chemical stability and mechanical properties under high-temperature and high-vacuum conditions. They can provide a stable environment for the growth of semiconductor single crystals, reducing the occurrence of crystal defects and improving the quality of semiconductor materials.

  • MBE Crucibles: In Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) processes, PBN MBE crucibles are used as evaporation vessels. The CVD-produced PBN crucibles have a solid body with all boron nitride crystals growing parallel to the vapor-deposition surface. Their high purity and excellent thermal and chemical stability make them ideal for accurately controlling the evaporation of elements and compounds in MBE, which is crucial for the growth of high-quality thin-film semiconductor materials.

  • LEC Crucibles: Liquid Encapsulated Czochralski (LEC) crucibles are designed for semiconductor single-crystal growth using the LEC technique. PBN LEC crucibles are known for their high purity and exceptional stability and strength in high-temperature and vacuum conditions. They are typically simple cylinder-shaped and are used to contain the molten semiconductor material during the crystal-growth process, ensuring the growth of high-quality single crystals.

PBN Discs/Plates/Sheets

PBN discs, plates, and sheets are used in high-vacuum and high-temperature insulation applications. Their outstanding electrical insulation properties and ultra-high purity (up to 99.999%) make them suitable for use as:

  • Insulators for High-Temperature Furnaces: In high-temperature furnace systems, PBN plates can be used as insulation components to prevent heat loss and ensure the efficient operation of the furnace. Their high-temperature resistance and good thermal insulation performance help maintain the high-temperature environment inside the furnace.

  • Feedthrough for High-Voltage Equipment: PBN discs can be used in high-voltage equipment as feedthrough components. Their excellent electrical insulation and high-temperature resistance properties can ensure the safe transmission of high-voltage signals in high-temperature environments.

  • Electric Insulators in Vacuum Systems: In vacuum systems, PBN sheets can be used as electric insulators. Their high purity and low outgassing characteristics are important for maintaining the high-vacuum environment and ensuring the normal operation of vacuum-based equipment.

PBN Boats

PBN boats are high-performance ceramic vessels mainly used in semiconductor material synthesis and single-crystal growth processes. For example, in the synthesis of certain semiconductor materials, the PBN boat can provide a clean and stable reaction environment. Its chemical inertness ensures that it does not react with the semiconductor materials being processed, while its high-temperature resistance allows it to withstand the harsh conditions of the synthesis process.

PBN Rods

PBN rods are high-precision clamping rods with high thermal conductivity, making them ideal for use in electron tubes. The high thermal conductivity of PBN rods helps in effectively dissipating heat generated during the operation of electron tubes, ensuring the stable and reliable operation of the tubes. They are synthesized via the CVD process using BCl? and NH? at high temperatures and low pressure.

PBN Coatings

  • Coating for Graphite Equipment: PBN is commonly used to coat and shield graphite equipment parts. At high temperatures, graphite can easily evaporate, but the PBN coating can prevent this. For example, in high-temperature furnace heating elements made of graphite, applying a PBN coating can significantly extend the service life of the graphite components by protecting them from oxidation and evaporation.

  • Outer Layer for Graphite Heaters (PG/PBN Heaters): PBN coatings on graphite heaters can improve the performance of the heaters. They can enhance the electrical insulation of the heaters, reduce heat loss, and protect the graphite substrate from corrosion in harsh environments, such as those containing molten metals, acids, or ammonia.

PBN Rings

PBN rings, with a purity of up to 99.999%, can endure temperatures up to 2300°C in a vacuum without decomposition or gas release. They are ideal for high-temperature and vacuum applications, such as in molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) and OLED manufacturing processes. In these applications, PBN rings can be used as support frames, insulators, and spacers. Their high-temperature resistance and excellent mechanical and electrical properties ensure the stability and reliability of the equipment.
