Help with Light Curtain Controllers specifications:
Controller Characteristics
Back to Top
Light Curtains Controlled: | This is the maximum number of light curtain transmitters and receivers that can be controlled by the controller.
Search Logic: | All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Safety Outputs / Relays per Light Curtain: | Most light curtains contain three relays: two control (safety) relays and one auxiliary (status) relay (this is not a primary safety relay).
Search Logic: | All matching products will have a value greater than or equal to the specified value.
Input Power | Search Logic: An item matches if it has ANY of the attributes you select. Selecting none (or all) of the options will match everything.
Your choices are... | |||
DC Power | |||
AC Power | |||
Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.

Your choices are... | |||
Visual Indicators (LEDs, Display) | Visual display of system status; faults.
Lockable | A key is required for access to the enclosure.
Muting | Muting is the temporary, automatically controlled, deactivation of a safeguarding device during the non-hazardous portion of the machine cycle. Allows complete bypass or disabling of the sensing field or stop signal to the machine during the non-hazardous portion of the cycle.
Blanking / Banking | The safety light curtain can be programmed so that a variable number of light beams are 'blanked' or 'masked' to allow an object to extend through the field without affecting the machinery's operation. Disables one or more fixed locations within the sensing field.
Latching Relays / Guard Mode | Once the sensing field of the curtain has been penetrated and a stop signal sent to the guarded machine, the light curtain will not remove the stop signal until the controls are manually reset outside the protected area. Causes a Lockout Condition. This requires a manual reset after each penetration into the guarded zone.
Search Logic: | All products with ANY of the selected attributes will be returned as matches. Leaving all boxes unchecked will not limit the search criteria for this question; products with all attribute options will be returned as matches.
Environment

Operating Temperature: | The temperature range over which the device must operate.
Search Logic: | User may specify either, both, or neither of the limits in a "From - To" range; when both are specified, matching products will cover entire range. Products returned as matches will meet all specified criteria.
