Jim Brown is the President of Tech-Clarity, an independent research and consulting firm that analyzes the business value of software technology and services. Jim has over 25 years of experience in software for the manufacturing industries. He has a broad background including roles in industry, management consulting, the software industry, and research. His experience spans enterprise solutions including PLM, ERP, quality, service, manufacturing, supply chain management, and more. He is actively focused on researching new initiatives and technologies including cloud computing, digitalization, smart manufacturing, AR, VR, and the IoT. Jim is passionate about improving product innovation, product development, and engineering performance through digitalization and the use of software technology.
Jim is an experienced researcher, author, and public speaker and enjoys the opportunity to speak at conferences or anywhere he can engage with people with a passion to improve business performance through digitalization and software technology.
Alan Goldman, VP of Cloud Solutions. Alan is responsible for enhancing PTC's Cloud based product Portfolio. This includes optimizations that enable efficient and quality Cloud delivery spanning infrastructure, functionality, deployment, and management.
Alan joined PTC in 2014 through the acquisition of the Axeda Corporation where he was leading the Hosting Operations team. Throughout his career, he has been enthusiastic about developing and delivering a wide variety of applications used by manufacturing, scientific, and financial organizations. Alan holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.
Mark Lobo, Senior Director of PLM Solutions
Management. In his role, Mark is responsible for
driving product strategy and roadmap for various offerings in PTC's PLM
Solution suite. This includes product management responsibilities for Windchill
based integrations with Mechanical CAD applications, Electrical/Electroni
Mark joined PTC in 2000 as a Product Manager for the Creo (former Pro/Engineer) data exchange and toolkit product lines. Prior to joining PTC, Mark was involved with interoperability testing of CAD and PLM systems and ongoing development of the STEP data exchange standard. Mark holds a Master's degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering.
Tim Curran, Head of PLM Business Development for KPIT, is responsible for managing all customer and partner relationships. In this role, Tim works very closely with PTC in supporting mutual customers as they transform their business using PLM/ALM/IoT technologies in the cloud. This includes deploying solutions, streamlining processes, and managing the impact of change for the customer.
Tim joined KPIT in 2014 as the manager of the PTC partner relationship and large accounts. Prior to joining KPIT, Tim spent 15+ years providing consulting services for manufacturing, product development, and supply chain management. This included 4 years with PTC. Tim holds a degree in Industrial Engineering.
