Improving Dispensing Efficiency & Productivity with the New Techcon TS9800 Piezo Jet Valve

The new Techcon TS9800 piezo, non-contact jetting technology provides the ability to dispense ultra-small amounts of adhesives and fluids consistently while meeting high-production and high-quality requirements. In this webinar, learn how this technology provides 20x the dispensing rate of traditional contact dispensing solutions and up to 2X that of a pneumatic jet valve.

Selecting the automated dispensing technology that is the best fit for the specific application can be difficult, especially when multiple technologies are available, such as the auger valve, progressive cavity pump, time pressure valve and pneumatic jet valve. For some operations, such as high-volume mobile device, LED, consumer electronic and medical device assemblers, there is a constant drive for the even higher yields at lower cost. For these machine integrators and builders, there is a relatively new technology with frequencies up to 1500 Hz continuously and up to 2000 Hz maximum burst. Our product, the Techcon TS9800 Jet Valve Dispensing System, is a Piezo actuated Jet Dispensing Valve, and it dispenses at about twice the speed of even the pneumatic jet valve.

Operators are also often amazed at the impressive placement precision and small and neat dot sizes generated by a piezo jet valve, especially considering that it is moving so fast, and the material is being shot and not being physically placed, as would be the case with most dispensing solutions that rely on contact with the substrate. Using sophisticated controllers, shot sizes can be achieved as small as 0.5 nanoliter, with outstanding consistency and repeatability. In this webinar, you'll learn more about this dispensing technology including how it works, its features and benefits, and the industries and applications that are using this technology.

Key Takeaways

  • Gain an understanding of the available jetting technology and differences between pneumatic and piezo jet valves
  • Understand the features and benefits of the piezo jet valve
  • Know what industries and applications are best suited for the technology
  • Find out how to gain speed and reduce scrap during the dispensing process
