Dr. Aurora Andújar is co-founder and director of engineering at Ignion. She has more than 14 years of experience in the antenna design industry supporting customers worldwide in the design and integration of miniature and multiband antenna solutions in IoT projects handling worldwide communication standards. She is inventor of more than 50 patents, and more than 100 papers in scientific journal, international, and national conferences. She is one of the lead inventors of Virtual AntennaTM technology, which is the core technology of Ignion today. This revolutionary antenna technology has been adopted by the wireless industry worldwide in many IoT developments to enable wireless connectivity through a miniature, multiband, and off-the-shelf antenna component capable of reducing the cost and time to market of any IoT device.

Dr. Aurora Andújar Linares holds a bachelor degree, two masters degrees, and a PhD in telecommunications engineering and management from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) where she has directed more than 50 bachelor and master thesis. Her thesis received two best doctoral thesis awards, from the Spanish College of Telecommunications Engineers (COIT-AEIT) and from the UPC as the best doctoral thesis of Spain and the TIC, respectively.
