2023 marks the eighth edition of the report, conducted through Dimensional Research. Dave Evans, Co-Founder, CEO, Fictiv

Dave Evans has been featured on Discovery, TechCrunch, Inc., named on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list, and recipient of the Manufacturing Leadership Award from NAM. Before Fictiv, he was the first hire at Ford’s Silicon Valley Lab and focused on shortening development cycles for infotainment systems. Evans has a degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University, a passion for all things automotive, and a deep respect for the complexity of their engineering systems.

Scot Lindemann, CEO, Mission Design & Automation

Scot Lindemann is an experienced leader in the automation and robotics sector. Before joining Mission, he was president of BACA Systems and held various roles, including co-CEO for JR Automation. He has served on multiple boards, is active in FIRST Robotics, and has served as the Robotic Industries Association (RIA) director. Lindemann holds a Bachelor's in robotic systems engineering from Lake Superior State University.

Simon Lancaster, General Partner, Omni Venture Labs

Simon Lancaster’s career includes roles at Apple, Google, and Blackberry. He’s a prolific inventor with over 50 patents, an experienced product designer, an innovation architect, and a lecturer. Lancaster is passionate about empowering technology startups, serving as an advisor and mentor for several entrepreneurship associations. He holds an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology and a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Sabrina Paseman, General Partner, Omni Venture Labs

Sabrina Paseman is invested in industry-changing technologies and helping technical founders reach their full potential. She’s a former startup co-founder and CEO, and Apple alumnus whose work has been recognized by Forbes, Business Insider, and Fast Company. She holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor’s in biological engineering from Cornell University.

Riley Hall - Moderator, Director of Product Marketing, Fictiv

Riley Hall is involved in advocating for customers, presenting customer feedback to internal teams, and defining the product roadmap. Prior to joining Fictiv, he held a variety of roles in engineering, project management, and sales at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Hilti North America, and Markforged. He holds an MBA from the University of Colorado Boulder and a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
