Overview

This webinar explores Microchip’s Complete RF Signal Chain Solution, which is revolutionizing SatCom, 5G, aerospace and defense with performance advances in GaN MMIC power amplifiers for advanced radar technology, linear power Satcom uplinks, 5G and wideband power amplifier applications. The webinar will discuss gallium nitride (GaN) on silicon carbide (SiC) and how it plays a pivotal role in providing the best figure of merit for the power amplifier (PA) in terms of linear output power with the benefit of  SWaP-C or size, weight, power and cost.

The merits of MMSM (Monolithic Microwave Surface Mount) RF diodes, integrated (miniature) switched SAW filter banks, and tradeoffs among analog, digital, hybrid and metamaterial beamforming technologies will be covered.

The webinar also discusses GaN on SiC MMIC power attributes that are critical to improving and offering more compelling next-generation products for 5G, aerospace and defense, and SatCom applications.
