Vacuum Made Simple: The Essential Concepts

Join Agilent Senior Application Engineer, John Screech, live as he explores the critical concepts of vacuum. Begin with Q = P x S, the formula that explains EVERYTHING about the relationship between gas load, pumping speed, and pressure. John then dives deeper into the contributors to the total system gas load, and also how the conductance of vacuum system elements must be taken into consideration when determining the 'net' or effective system pumping speed. Understand the science so you can select the right vacuum system for your application.
