Overview

Discover an efficient process to product development from initial requirements to finished concept. The integration of requirements with system models, design and validation creates a stable foundation for a functioning development process.

However, there are still challenges:

  • A single-source-of-truth does not exist for the validation of technical project data
  • Departments work in silos, often leading to inconsistencies in the value creation process
  • Employees are more concerned with data search and interpretation resulting in decreased productivity

Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) breaks down the barriers within interdisciplinary teams to enable a better understanding of the assignment, the scenarios and the needs of everyone involved. Exact specifications usually described in the requirements are not only possible in the static description of the interfaces. The definition of a consistent and complete system specification remains even during a dynamic exchange of interfaces in complex systems. Furthermore, costly rework can be avoided without the use of prototypes. Using an e-drive as an example, this webinar will show how efficient product development is possible on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

Key Takeaways

  • Integrate disciplines, tools and processes including simulation
  • Collaborate to manage complexity, gain flexibility and increase efficiency
  • Discover efficient product development on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform

Speakers

Andreas Seidel, SIMULIA Senior Sales Manager, Dassault Systèmes

Andreas Seidel is a simulation enthusiast who also happens to love his role as a Sales Director and, when not thinking about simulation, rugby.

Morten Huber, CATIA Industry Process Consultant, Dassault Systèmes

Since early 2022, Morten Huber has worked in the CATIA Systems Engineering & Electrical team to align simulation in the framework of model-based systems engineering.
